Jakarta (ANTARA) – Kapten Liverpool Virgil van Dijk menyebut timnya memainkan taktik penguasaan bola yang ceroboh saat dikalahkan Atalanta 0-3 pada leg pertama perempat final Liga Europa di Anfield, Jumat pagi WIB.Akibat kecerobohan tersebut, Liverpool mengalami kekalahan kandang pertamanya dalam 14 bulan terakhir. Kendati demikian, van Dijk meminta rekan-rekannya melupakan kekalahan memalukan tersebut dan segera bangkit jelang laga melawan Crystal Palace, Minggu (14/4).
“Menyakitkan, kami sudah lama tidak kalah di sini. Mereka menghukum kami karena ceroboh dalam penguasaan bola,” kata Van Dijk seperti dilansir AFP, Jumat.

“Itu adalah malam yang menyakitkan, dan mulai besok kami harus mencoba lagi untuk mendapatkan hasil,” kata bek asal Belanda itu.
Pada laga tersebut, Atalanta membungkam The Reds lewat dua gol Gianluca Scamacca dan gol penutup Mario Pasalic. Van Dijk menyatakan tim tamu bisa mencetak hingga tiga gol karena kesalahan kolektif, bukan karena kesalahan satu atau dua pemain saja.
