Nadal lawan ancaman Raonic di pertandingan pembuka Indian Wells

Spesialis lapangan tanah liat itu, seperti dilansir AFP, Jumat, turun ke peringkat 646 ATP dan harus memanfaatkan kesempatan untuk mengikuti undian utama di Monte Carlo, ajang lapangan tanah liat Masters 1000 pertama musim 2024.

Dari 11 kemenangan Nadal di ajang tersebut, terakhir terjadi pada 2018. Ia kemudian tersingkir di semifinal 2019, perempatfinal 2021, dan absen pada edisi 2020, 2022, dan 2023.

Ia dijadwalkan menggunakan Monte Carlo sebagai batu loncatan menuju Prancis Terbuka terakhirnya, yang telah ia menangi sebanyak 14 kali.
